Nature vs Man

I placed a composition of objects, attempting to showcase the contrast between items formed by nature and items formed by man. The candle represents a man-made structure, crafted from substances found in nature, while the shell beside it represents a natural structure from the environment. The rose similarly portrays the very essence of nature, yet it sits in a handcrafted vase for presentation. Lastly, the shoe ties the piece together as it was created by man but has walked across the ground of nature and over time has organically molded to the creases and shape of my foot.
