Blossoming light

Commissioned by the charity organization JAFCO, I painted my own interpretation of the Chanukah holiday at JAFCO to be used as the artwork for the invitation to their annual fundraiser. Each flower in the bouquet represents a different story, experience, contribution, and/or child, expressing the uniqueness and diversity that exists within JAFCO. They merge equally into a vibrant arrangement of beauty. As the president of the Teen Chapter of this organization, I was honored to see it sold at auction for $1,000, knowing it would go toward aiding those struggling and in need of support.
